Arriving Monday-till Friday there were no air condition service into my room due to breakdown of system. We paid additional sum -84 euro-to relocate our room to Beach site(.Unfortunately,no sandy beach is there)Unusual smell was comming from the toilet ventilation system
until the last day, despite we were assured it would be fixed.Booked a trip thru tour representative to Efes shrine and was supplied with breakfast packet of 1/4 bread loaf,60 grams cheese and an apple. After my complains I was told of compensation of a kind?Unknow.Generally,we paid a lot of unexpected expenses for our "comfort".
Great hotel, the pool was huge. Food great and good standard of cleanliness, only downfall was air conditioning was not working in the rooms so very hot
very nice place, room is comfortable, service nice, people is nice. we enjoy the weekend, hotel can provide everything what you need.Verified Hotels.com guest review

We were visiting this hotel on october with family of two kids. Its end of season, weather is sunny but theres cold wind.
Hotel was clean, stuff very friendly and many of them speak very well english. Kids love warm inside
pool and hamam. Food was good and there was plenty of choices.
Special thanks to waiter Mehmet for good service! Also very BIG THANKS to man who was serving ice cream and was responsible for pastries. He is super helpfull and makes our family to feel very special guests, thanks!
Ps. The small village near hotel is very nice place and theres local market in sundays.

Spent 2 weeks at this hotel early September.. reading the last 2 reviews I feel I was at a totally different hotel! We had a wonderful time.. rooms were spacious, granted could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly
but by no means were they dirty.
A wonderful selection of food, always a variety, yes a little cold for our liking but just pop in microwave... not a big problem.
Pool area beautiful, stunning views, friendly staff.
Don't be put off by the negative reviews.
the hotel we delighted with the photos and views but upon arriving, we found an abandoned hotel like the movie "the money pit". (furniture with dust, dirty rooms, broken curtains, broken furniture, invasion of flies, lock broken could have
entered the room from another balcony, started sugar and days without replacing it, dirty and unscented dining room,
old and leaky towels),attached photos and many I could have done.
the first day took 3 hours to give us the room, we left the bags, so we took all the money, when we got the room, the bags were not and then they did not find them.
I made the mistake of leaving my purse(with all money, passport, identification nummer, bank cards)in a bathroom because the door was broken, after 10 minutes in realizing me that I thought that did not have my bag, I went to the bathroom and it was not, I went to reception and after calling the boy to no I know who, we went to the bathroom, and the bag appeared in a corner but without the all money "what a coincidence"
the food is reused overday even for dinner, mixing it with sauces to look like another meal, do not wash the vegetables and fruits, have mud, juice is powder, they cook a lots meal that stay cold, instead of cooking little by little as other hotels do, in a hotel of 500 rooms that only has a coffee machine in the dining room
and that is often broken. in one week I went to the bathroom more times than in 6 months
cocktails are poison, know not make Turkish coffee, the pastry wasn't worth it, everything reused and hard cakes of the dining room
Staff nothing professional, waiters who do nothing and they only speak Turkish. in an all inclusive, 5 stars, when you asked for drinks or something, it seemed that they did you a favor, we had to beg them or they were the bosses. only one person has notions of German,
the guest personal , who must be there to advise and help, does nothing, just to pretend, does not help, hides to avoid problems.
the total arrogance of the whole hotel by being the only one in the area with 5 stars and not reach 3 stars, nobody cares at all, they do not care about the details, everything old, zero maintenance, they are waiting for things it breaks .
IMPORTANT: do not spend your money on this hotel, do not make the mistakes of coming to this hotel, no doubt on your day when it opened and took another company had five stars, now with this management no. they have specialized in local turism and not foreigners.
not to choose with hurries and to see earlier the critiques of google, we already look at them late.
Do you care about the level of service you get?! Of course, you do care! Because you pay for a five-star service, but you get a two-star service, compared to other Turkish 5-Star Hotels. Also, if you think that First
Choice Agency will take you to the best exotic places, and they have already checked everything for your all inclusive holiday, you are wrong!!!
Here I point out negative points as well as positives.
1) Poor reception service:
First impressions: Lack of proper English speaking staff; using some rude staff. I'd like to emphasise a specific one, for management's information. At 11 pm on 8th-September, we were told by one of the receptionists (I forgot His name) that he would not care about our problem as he thought everything was perfect!! Also, one night before we asked for an extra sheet, and after one hour of receiving nothing we called again, and this was what exactly we were told: "You expect too much!!!"
Conclusion: Never ask for an extra sheet at a 5-star resort!!! We got the bloody sheet after two hours though! Therefore, don't think that they will improve the service if you complain. Our agency (Anna-from First Choice) did nothing at all for us. She said she would speak to the management, but she didn't.
2) Poor cleanliness:
I don't mind using a clean bed sheet or towel for one week. However, it is expected that those with stain get replaced every day. A piece of chocolate dropped from my hand the very first night, and the stain stared back at me every day and night after that for the whole week we stayed at "5-star" Euphoria!!!
Dirty mugs: The mugs by the kettle in the room had never been washed/ replaced! I washed them myself, and we had coffee. The next day I found the same cups upside downed. They had only been wiped!
Dirty wine/water glasses and cutlery were set up on some tables.
Also, some coffee/tea cups were not washed properly.
3) Other issues:
Bathroom's fan didn't work. The shower was not only calcified but broken. I'd like to watch the news every night, but the TV was broken.
Our room had a nice balcony; however, when we wanted to seat there, we had to put up with the horrible smell of fried food (Especially fried fish) coming out of the hotel's kitchen hood into our room. (Northside).
4) Reduced alcohol quality: Turkey is one of the best beer producers; however, only yellow water was served at this resort. It seemed like some water was added to all wines and other alcohol drinks!!!
5) Poor restaurant service:
Their self-service restaurant called Rainbow Restaurant. There were no proper facilities to keep the food warm.
Majority of the floor staff could not speak/ understand English.
They were not trained properly for catering service.
You must double-check every single plate, glass, cutlery,.. to see if they aren't dirty.
By the way, flies are flying and landing everywhere around the foods, salads, and fruits, desserts.
6) Horrible pool animation/entertainment presenter. He has got a megaphone, and you have to put up with his bloody loud voice for an hour around midday; which is the best relaxing time of the day. Good luck with that!!! He non-stop shouts in Turkish but when he is counting he switches to English, but still shouting through the megaphone!!!
7) If you arrive after 10 pm, you have to wait until midnight when they serve late dinner. So, try not to be nodding off!
8) lifeguards leave the beach at 5 pm regardless of some people still being in the sea. So, don't expect to be rescued if you get troubled after 5!
9) There are two indoors bars, one pool bar, and one beach bar, but none of which is functioning properly. They have an excellent cocktail menu, but only a few of the bartenders have been trained to make all of them! That would be the case if they could find all the ingredients/liquor though! The outdoors bars just serve yellow water (Supposed to be beer), soda, and instant coffee. And when you need them they are closed!!!
10) Other negatives:
Table tennis is situated in a damped room like a cave, where mice are cheering for you!!
11) Hazards issues:
My wife tried water slides, and she ended up with a 15cm scratch on her wrist; two layers of her skin were peeled by sharp edges!!!
Also, there are many broken tiles on the floor around the restaurant, swimming pool, snack bar, and the pavement towards the beach.
Outdoors wiring: electricity cables were joined by twisting and insulation tape and were left without cover by the beach!!
12) Poor outdoors cleaning and rubbish collection.
13) We asked for the manager/ owner and were told that he is on vacation himself. We were also advised that he had recently sent his representatives to Euphoria for improvements. Too late Mr Owner!! I don't think they will ever find enough time to sort out everything and provide the necessary training for this holiday season. You have ruined our vacation this time to have a good one yourself!
Euphoria might have been a 5-star resort once upon a time, but now even two star is too much for them!
1) The resort is located in a unique area with a beautiful deck which goes into the sea.
2) A few of the waiters/waitresses are very professional. However, they are rushed, and they'll spare a moment to serve you if you are lucky.
3) Professional Scuba Diving Experience:
You'll meet Bob, the manager/head of instructors, and his friendly team. They do speak English and patiently teach you how to dive. If you are a licensed, they'll take you to deep water. They will take pictures there as well.
4) I'd like to thank Mehmet, the manager of the snack bar and Ala-cart restaurant, and also, the waitress and the chef of the seafood restaurant for their hospitality and professional service.
5) The food at the Rainbow Restaurant is delicious, and there is a verity of different types of food including vegan.
6) There is a modern gym by the pool.
Be aware that Euphoria does not provide a 5-Star service at the moment. The service you get is equivalent to a 2-star resort.
We as a family of 4 checked in to the hotel today and our first impression was that everything looked good. It didn't take longer than 30 minutes for that illusion to shatter. First problem was that they've given us
only 2 keycards for the room, and since we are a family of 4, we definitely needed 2 more keycards so that we don't have to live like conjoined twins and tour the resort at our pleasure. When we asked for extra keycards, the receptionist refused by saying "we only give out 2 keycards per room". We're talking about a $5 plastic card used to open doors here, and I've personally visited over 20 5 star resorts in Turkey, and I've never had a problem with something as small as getting extra keys. Second point is the use of low quality alcohol and the lack of variety, if you were planning on getting some coctails and sipping them with a great view, you will be disappointed. Third issue is the utter incompetence of the people working in reception as well as in other places around the hotel. Cleanliness is definitely an issue as you can often see unclean glasses around the pools. Fourth issue is the cleanliness of the rooms, when we first checked in, all seemed fine however as I checked it in more detail, rooms were very dirty. Shower heads have calcified due to not being cleaned for god knows how many years, and when I opened a drawer to put my stuff in, I've found empty soda cans just sitting there, which proves the cleaning staff is incompetent. As final remarks, anything other than the location and is subpar at best and crappy at worst. There are many other hotels for the same price range that gives you an experience of a 5 star hotel, avoid at all costs.

We spent a few beautiful days at Euphoria Aegean Resort & Spa, located after Izmir in Seferihisar Belediyesi, exactly as soon as it leaves Sigacik (after Teos Marina climbs the slope and then immediately sees the hotel -
it is right).
What to say, the hotel has 5 stars after their classification, and when it first comes to the reception you will see the huge window overlooking the pool and the sea - and a little mask. We did the appointment quickly, reaching 14:00.
Before getting into the room I asked if we could go to the table (being with children) and invited us without any problems. Different from other locations in Turkey, Euphoria Aegean Resort & Spa does not put bracelets on hand, with all tourists at the UAI. At check-in you will be given 2 cards for the room door and 4 towels. Be careful not to miss towels - it costs 10 euros for a towels.
Some indications - as you enter the main entrance, take the reception on the left. You can find the Dizzy Bar, open until 24:00, with free drinks (UAI), but also with payment (if you want something more ...). If you go to the right elevators (reception level) and go with them one floor below, you reach:
- Rainbow Restaurant, in fact the restaurant where all the tourists are dining,
- the area where the cinema is,
- the area where it opens on the terrace where the only open bar opens after 18:00 (because the pools close all)
- the area where there are shops and the billiard room and bowling (paid)
If you go to the left lifts (reception level) and go with them one floor below, you reach:
- the areas mentioned above
- spa area, hairdresser, doctor (paid)
- the beach towels area
- Exit to the large swimming pool and the pool bar, near the bar, and the location where ice cream is given free of charge (between certain hours).
At the resort you will find a large swimming pool (crowded with a bar), relax pool (in the villas - but not only for the villa owners - with a bar), the children's pool (with a top-floor for them - in the middle) Aegean beach (with bar), entertainment slides, open from 10-12, and after 2 hours.
The food is good, diversified, on all tastes. Find everywhere, in the refrigerator racks at each bar - pay water, ayran - at your discretion. They're really not gaudy, the lashes are full all the time. The restaurant has large bottles of flat water on the tables, or you can get yourself from the serving boys.
Beer (Ephesus), wine, other beverages are free, of course, also serving non-alcoholic drinks.
I got hit during the coup, but the Internet or TV was not interrupted at all. Everything was ok and calm in the nearby towns, but also in the other through which we crossed the border.
I recommend you to go to Selcuk at the House of Virgin Mary. If you do (far away) go to Pamukkale, but maybe to Izmir or Cesme.
In conclusion - I liked it and I kindly recommend it to others.
Preis-Leistung unglaublich gut. Unmengen an Salat, Soßen, Dips, Süßkram. Manche bemängeln, dass die Speisen lauwarm waren. Stimmte manchmal. All in Getränke und kaltes Wasser immer verfügbar. Keine Beanstandungen. Man musste dort mehrmals einkehren.
Reinste Katastrophe in allem.
