Nice place to stay

on via Tripadvisor.com

We had two hotel rooms on the second floor, and both rooms had no hot water in the morning or evening in the bathroom. We arrived after midnight, and we were forced to refresh with cold - and I mean COLD - water. The hotel reception staff did not speak English very well, if at all, and we were unable to get hot water for certain periods of the day/evening for the duration of our stay. The staff were very rude and abrupt, and laughed in our faces at one point after complaining - we raised the issue every single day of our holiday, which completely ruined our break. Additionally, the hotel were unable/refused to exchange our GBP to Turkish Lira - they kept saying come back tomorrow, which we did for three days until we realised they were not going to help us until Erdem changed some from his personal money just so we could get to town! All our hotel towels had holes and/or stains on, as well as the blankets used for sleeping. However the room was large and the bed was comfortable, which was pleasant. Additionally, the handle and locking mechanism on our hotel door was very temperamental. We were unable to lock our hotel room from the inside, and had to try a few times just to open it to get in. Plus the air conditioning was absolutely useless - didn't work at all. The phone in our room did not work when we had to call to the main reception desk, and we had to use the phone in the bathroom to communicate between rooms and with the staff. Further to this, I had a very important phone call which should have been transferred to my hotel room - I was unable to get the call, and the people back in London said that the hotel staff were rude to them and put the phone down when requested to be transferred. My meeting was delayed until Monday, however this could have been avoided by just a simple transfer. The spa area was lovely, however there were constantly children in the adults only pool - there was nobody monitoring their entry. The treatments were pretty fairly priced, and we had a lovely massage on the last day of our stay. The girls were amazing! The spa staff were also very professional and polite, and we didn't have any issues with them whatsoever - definitely a positive point! The main hotel staff were not forthcoming with public transport information, rather opting to try and force us to take a very expensive taxi to the town (of which we can only assume they claim some commission?) - we only found out about the bus through conversations with other guests and by taking a walk around the hotel. Overall, the cleaning and catering staff were very pleasant and polite, and the guest relations manager was helpful, as well as Erdem on reception (both of whom could speak decent English). The food was good, if a little repetitive, and we got the impression that the leftover food was being rehashed the next day, which is not a problem but it does present slight food poisoning issues (especially with rice and meat!) However I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone I know on account of the fact that they were ridiculously unhelpful and rude when we came to them with actual problems.

We had the chance last year to visit Izmir, a beautiful City, and we Stay in the Hotel euphoria, wehre we enjoyed spa Fitness Pool fishing and the food. The activities surprised us and made the days in the hotel different. The small village Sigacik is 15 min walking far or 3 min with minibus for 1euro. To relax and be far from Stress is the Hotel Perfect. We visit also Izmir for Shopping. It s toke 45 min by Mini Bus for 5 or 6 Euros! The room Service is very good, Service within buffet some times bad some times very good and nice. I Hope the Management Improve the service so euphoria can get additional Star :) . Thank you for all.

We had a superior double with sea view. The view was nice, the bed was rock hard. The bath was dirty. The Aircon was useless and balcony door handle was broken. The food is average, the extra dining halls won't open at all unless you reserve a table, and if your group is less then 10 they won't do it. I was sick for three days due to the food or water. The night club , snooker table, bowling alley are all shut. The beach is lovely except for the giant ants that bite and latch on. If you do go in the water, beware of loads of sea urchins. None of the TV was in English nor was any excursion, everything was in Russian or German. The staff do try and help you. And some are very pleasant. The pool is average except one day it was full of floating ants. And don't bring lira, everyone at the hotel demands to be paid in euros only. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. But if you do choose to go here, checkout is at 12 noon. If your late they will try and charge you £40

Food correct and service ok Spacious room and equipments of quality. Modern decoration Hotel correct, and well located, in front of the sea and with no neighbourhood. Gardens are clean and well maintained But liquid soap is often missing in the WC (closed to the restaurant mainly) 90% of the clients come from Russia, and at the reception some people from the staff are not confortable with English. language. As a general remark, I would suggest: the staff should check the general state of the rooms (once per week or per month : frequency to define) => TV operation and image quality + remote tv control, and the fixations (Coat hanger on the wall of the bathroom + Fixing paper rolls°Verified Hotels.com guest review

This hotel in Sığacık, İzmir. Very close to the 3rd biggest metropol of Turkey. Situated well on a hill. Food are ok, not so good or not so bad. Rooms have technical problems for ğnstance my room's door was really hard to close and open. There are mosquitos but there is no barrier on the balcony. The hotel has no sand beach. Sand is taken from somwhere and put over the rocky seaside. Service is not good. It is hard to find someone to ask something at any part of the hotel. Vonference hall is ok. It could have 300 people at the same time. In my opinion the most problematic thing was the main building's architecture. Because it is really hard to find your room. Plus there are only two elevators and no stairs. I spent 3 days but i have waited so long for elevators. That is very annoying. However the SPA center's massagers from Bali. Oh god they are the master of massage. The only five star thing here is their massages and spa packs. There are not many Turkish but so many russian turrists choose here for holiday.

We came here with some friends for relax holidays at the end of the summer, place with hotel quite good, reception workers speaking only russian, just some of them understand minimal english, room service and cleaners were not good. But there are some pluses aswell, like the Sigacik town near the hotel 10-15 minutes to walk, small beautiful town with a marketplace, where you can get cheap souvenirs and enjoy the nightlife of the town. Another thing what makes me so happy was entertainment team, I want to say big thank you for ROMEO, who was like a friend from the first day of our holiday. He is allways happy, smiling, speaking good english, turkish, russian, offering lots of activities like darts, archery, funny pool games, thank you so much! What else, the food and kitchen personal were quite good. Just the same food for lunch and dinner were annoying, but the taste and quallity of food was nice. To sum up, there is a good choice for relax holidays in this holiday, like everywhere there are some pluses and minuses.
